Legal Liability – Occupational Health and Safety (OHSA) (Act 85 of 1993)

Duration: 1 Day
Facilitator: Cecil Townsend Naude – Townsend Naude Attorneys

Overview

The Legal Liability – Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requires employers to maintain a work environment that is, as far as reasonably practicable, safe and without risk to employees’ health. Responsibility for workplace safety, however, is shared between employers and employees, who must proactively identify hazards and implement control measures.
